Old Vehicle Line-Up
Our early operations relied on a diverse fleet of unbranded vehicles, which, although functional, lacked the unified identity that defines us today.

Manual Pipe Filling
We began with a hands-on approach, manually filling water into cans using simple pipes, requiring focused effort and care.

Semi-Automatic Filling
The transition to semi-automatic systems improved speed and efficiency while still requiring human effort to maintain quality control.

Manual Loading
Shipments were loaded entirely by hand, making the process labor-intensive and time-consuming for our dedicated team.

Forklift Loading
We now use advanced forklifts to streamline the loading process, ensuring higher productivity and safer goods transfer.

Driving the Future with Vision and Leadership
Alex Thomas is the Group CEO and Managing Director of Al Ahrar Group of Companies,
bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in corporate and industrial sectors across
Australia, the USA, and the UAE. Since taking over the family business in the UAE, he has
spearheaded key initiatives, including establishing an in-house bottling factory and launching
one of the UAE’s few privately-owned seawater desalination plants. Under his leadership, Al
Ahrar Group has expanded its customer base, increased staff strength, and enhanced its product
portfolio, notably growing the premium bottled water brand, Mai Arabia. Alex also serves as
Treasurer for the UAE Bottled Water Business Group under Dubai Chamber of Commerce,
reflecting his commitment to sustainability and industry development.
